Amanda Jane (Aerialist)
2021-2022 RETURNING CHAMPION
Amanda is Bridges & Butterflies first ever winner of the Annual Winter Talent Showcase Competition. She will be returning to compete again this year for another chance to win the title. She is currently prepping her all new routine and is excited to show the world what she's got!
MEET AMANDA:
"I’m an aerialist from Beacon, NY. I have been teaching and performing circus arts for many years. I have studied under various other artists, including artists from Cirque du Soleil. My specialties include lyra, aerial silks, hammock, aerial spansets and cube. Circus has given me a sense of purpose in life. It’s a place where I feel most welcomed; my home. Through circus, I have overcome many obstacles and built strong bonds with friends/coworkers, performers, and my students. Circus gives me strength..."

Robert Lawrence Friedman is a drum circle facilitator, author and corporate trainer. He has published two breakthrough books and over 75 articles on the power of rhythm to provide greater health and wellness. Using rhythm based exercises he developed, he has supported burn survivors, children and women with cancer, Alzheimer's patients, stress out employees, and many other populations. He has appeared on a year-long Discovery Health Channel program as a stress management expert, as well as on the Today Show, CNBC and NBC News. He has been published in the Wall Street Journal, Washington Times and U.S. News and World Report.
